Ingredients
  

Dry ingredients
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
Wet ingredients
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a muffin tin.
  2. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.
  3. Combine wet ingredients in another bowl.
  4. Mix wet into dry until just combined.
  5. Fill muffin cups 2/3 full and bake for 15-20 minutes.
  6. Cool muffins before serving.

Notes

Use fresh honey for best flavor.
